Christina Parker

I graduated from Oregon State University with a B.Sc. in Zoology.  I worked in various areas of conservation before landing in fisheries at the California Department of Fish and Wildlife in their Native Fishes and Bay Study projects where I gained a lot of experience and knowledge about the Delta and San Francisco Bay Estuary.

I’ve been with the Hobbs lab since early 2015.  My main work is on the Longfin Smelt Project. I am involved with not only field work but assisting in managing the day to day operations of the Longfin portion of our lab, data management, GIS, as well as data analysis and reporting for our smelt larval samples, 20mm samples, zooplankton, and mysid samples.

I’m currently pursuing a Masters of Natural Resources with a speciality in Fisheries Management through Oregon State University.
